Christmas Teaser

Somepuggies got exactly what they wanted for Christmas. One thing that they have been coveting for weeks on end. One thing that pretty much ALL of their friends out there in blogland have been able to secure. Want a preview? ;)

Can you tell what it is from this photo? It's perfectly pug-size...and perfectly pug-shaped (i.e. round.)

Can you tell what it is here?
Wait...what the heck? Billie, that's not yours...

It's perfectly tuggable and nommable and snuggleable, too.

It's a sock monkey bed! And sweet Klausie knows just how to use it. When it's not occupied by his sister or cousin, of course. :)

She Didn't Get the Memo

I guess we forgot to tell miss Natty about the being good part of getting presents for Christmas. Here she is snorfling and trampling on the presents, nibbling the bows, and trying to get a sneak peek at what's in all those packages. And not being very subtle about it either, might I add.
The tree has been up for weeks, and the presents under it for days--but the little girl apparently just realized that there were goodies underneath.Notice the blur that is Klausie standing off to the side, being a tattle tale. He takes great pleasure in being a good boy.

Happy holidays to you all, from two very merry pugs!

Winter Shminter.

We're flashback-Fridaying to summer, gosh darnit.
Summer puuuuuugs, and the livin' was eeeeeasy!
(I miss our yard. Waaaah!)
Oh, what those puggies wouldn't give for a patch of grass now!

Only like 8 months of winter left to go, little ones. :/ *Sigh.

I'm Gonna Need a Bigger Lap... (and an extra hand)

Every time I get the urge to add another pug to our brood, I have to remind myself that two pugs is really a perfect number. There are two humans in our family, but when only one human is around, it's still feasible to manage two pugs. We've each got two hands for walking, two hands for petting, and two hands for feeding. What on earth would I do if we had three? Not to mention that lap space is at a real premium around here. Do you see any extra space on this daddy's lap? Nope, me neither.I do know that someday I'd love to rescue another little guy...but it will have to wait until we've got more space, more money, and a yard again. (*Sigh.) For now though, these two are keeping our laps nice and toasty! :)

Caught in the Act

Klaus doesn't want anyone to know that he cuddles with his sister, but he does.
Well, kinda. More like, sometimes when she inches closer, he doesn't entirely move away. He's a snob like that.

A Pug and His Daddy.

He's mostly a mama's boy...but sometimes, just sometimes...a pug boy needs to cuddle with his dad.
