Celebrating Five Years of Klausie

Where would I be without you, little man?
You've been my best little buddy since the day I brought you home.
My little black velvet shadow. You never leave my side. (Or my lap.)
You've made me laugh every single day; taught me to embrace my silly side.
And my nurturing one.
You've grown into such a big and beautiful boy!
(If perhaps a little quirky.)
And you're such a good big brother, too!
I'm so happy to have you, little guy.
Here's to many more wonderful years together.
Happy birthday, sweet Klausie.

Puggy PSA

Miss Natty would like to remind everypuggy that it is VERY important to take care of your teefs.

If you don't, you might end up giving stinky kisses like SOMEBODY around the pod. We're not naming any names.
(Ahem.)

*Natty's mommy decided she better post this disclaimer: The floss was taken away after I snapped the photos, and I rubbed some dental goo on her (and stinky Klausie's) chompers instead. Don't let your puggies eat dental floss! ;)

Puggy Profile

How can she be so flat—
yet so round—
at the same time?

It boggles the mind.

C Is for the Carpet...

that makes the pug go Crazy!

[This here is the tail ;) end of the madness. The little man loves to tuck tail and spin and race around his new slip-resistant floor.]

Where Are the Treats?

I'll give you ONE guess.

(I know, the quality is terrible--and something weird happened with the audio. But at least you can see/hear my demanding beasts in action!)

They've located the stash. It's all over for me.

Changes.

The last two months of our lives have played out a bit like a family drama.
Only...not quite as much fun.
The pugs have moved pods yet again...only this time, to a place with just the pug mom.

We're all doing well...adjusting, taking things in stride. There are some awesome things about our new digs and our new life, and some things that are not quite as awesome.

For the purposes of this blog...we'll focus only on the good. We're moving forward with life, thinking positively, counting blessings.

We have our health, we have each other.

What more do we really need?

In spite of what they'd have you believe...the pugs have adapted to these changes remarkably well. Isn't that right, Natty?
 Erm...gee...thanks, Nat.

Klausie? How about you, buddy? Please tell our friends how well we're all doing.
Oy. Pugs are SO DRAMATIC!

They're fine. WE'RE fine. I promise. :)
