Hello beautiful blogger friends. We apologize for our absence of late...we are undergoing some major changes in the Two Pugs in a Pod household and things may be a bit crazy for a while. We want you to know that we are all healthy and well, but we may not be as posting as often as we (or you) would like. Rest assured that we are not going anywhere...we are reading your blogs every day and will comment when we can, but our own posts may be a bit sporadic for the next month or so. Thanks for checking in on us, and please keep us in your thoughts. We could use some good juju and love sent our way.

Puggy Pool Party! (Preview)

So two weekends ago, I took both pugs (by myself - *gasp*) to a pug pool party! My sister got married this past weekend, and with all of the madness surrounding the wedding, I just haven't gotten around to uploading my own photos of the event. I DID, however, manage to snag a few photos of my little guys from the Pug Meetup website! These aren't the greatest, and there are none of them in the water (believe it or not, they BOTH got in the water - with some coaxing, of course) but here's a preview of what's to come. :) Enjoy!

The Glurm

Isn't it funny how we come up with nicknames for our pets? In these photos, Natty is demonstrating what we refer to as "The Glurm." When she lays with her legs pinned underneath her so you can't see them at all, we kinda think she resembles a Glow Worm. (Although now that I look at him, the little dude does have two arms, doesn't he?) Anyway, combine Glow Worm with Gurl, and NATURALLY you get "Glurm." Do you follow? Of course you do.

Here is the elusive Glurm in its natural habitat.

It spends most of its time sleeping, in order to conserve energy derived from precious stores of kibble.

Groupon for Pets?

The Pet Care industry is booming right now, and companies are cashing in--there are startups springing up left and right. I got an email about a new Groupon-like website that will be sending daily deals via email, but specifically for pet products. To celebrate the launch of Bamzilla.com, they're going to be giving away a $500 gift card to PetSmart--and who couldn't use that?
